These tiles use marble, water and the Caribbean as their inspiration. Have a look:

Fiandre, part of the Iris Ceramica Group, has unveiled its first U.S. production of marble looks and slabs in a new porcelain tile collection called Royal Marble. It features refined marble looks that include both large and traditional formats.

The Royal Marble Collection was designed in Italy and will be manufactured in the U.S. in the company’s 100-million-sq.-ft. facility in Tennessee.

“Royal Marble takes its inspiration from exquisite marble varieties, and evokes a sense of luxury in formal or relaxed hospitality spaces,” said Joy Klein, VP, Transceramica, Fiandre’s direct sales division. “The signature vein patterns and fine white lines that cut across the surfaces of the six neutral shades in the Royal Marble collection lends spaces character and sophisticated elegance. Marble looks also coordinate well with classic to contemporary decor styles, making it an ideal choice for hospitality floors, walls, and can also be used to create dramatic lobby desks and accent furniture clad in Royal Marble. In addition, the benefit of manufacturing Royal Marble in the U.S. means faster lead times and delivery for any size hospitality project.”

The Royal Marble collection includes six color shades from bright white to deep gray, available in two finishes, polished and honed, with colors in white, beige, light, charcoal, black and gray crosscut.

Echo Grand tile from Artistic Tile interprets the dramatic diamond ombré-like pattern of its Echo glass pattern in three luxurious marble colorways. The cascading succession on all three blends produces a complex ripple effect, showcasing an assortment of remarkable color tones. It is available in blue (shown), green and gray.

“We are always aware that our design work for luxury hospitality is part of a larger context,” said Nancy Epstein, founder, Artistic Tile. “…Likewise, the art world fascinates and inspires me, and in the work of several artists of the 1960s, the geometric and concentric use of color intrigued me. We had created a glass mosaic, ‘Echo,’ that was all about concentric rhomboids, that has absolutely charmed our clients, and once that happened, adapting the concept to colorful stone that was also friendly for the higher-traffic floors found in hospitality projects was far too appealing to resist, and we love the result—Echo Grand!”

Cascade Collection glass tiles from Island Stone combine classic shapes with a textured finish to create subtle movement on the surface that mimics water. A dynamic alternative to matte- or gloss-finish glass tile, the custom engineered texture offers a compelling visual that is modern and fresh. The aesthetic is ideal for creating a retreat-like vibe on shower walls, kitchen backsplashes, interior and exterior accent walls, and more.

“Cascade was inspired by small irregular water droplets on glass. The texture effect is inspired by water that moves so fast, it can almost appear still,” said Nigel Eaton, CEO, Island Stone. “Catching the light, the tile is especially striking in the shower, where the effect is reminiscent of a glistening waterfall.”

The tiles come in six nature-inspired colors—Midnight (shown); Mojave; Oceania; Pure Silk; Stratos; and Tule.
